Aspire HR Ltd is an HR and business consultancy, established in 2008, which is focused primarily on Leadership Training, Management Development and Coaching in organisations.
We work with you as partners to develop all levels of your leadership as we recognise that effective leaders are critical to your business success.
Aspire HR Ltd was established in 2008 by Angela Thorburn, who has 20 years of experience in the Training, Development and HR field with HR/training positions of responsibility and seniority in both the private and public sector. From 2001 onwards Angela has held Senior HR & Training Management roles for multiple global US owned corporations, privately owned global businesses and public sector organisations. Prior to 2001 Angela was a seasoned Learning & Development professional, working for a global pharmaceutical company, before moving into more generalist HR roles. With an early career in Retail Management, followed by a period in business consulting, Angela has a good commercial business background with exposure to the following industries and sectors:
Angela is the managing consultant for Aspire HR Ltd and she will handle all initial enquiries and customer contact to understand your specific requirements. Aspire HR Ltd has a trusted network of Associate Consultants, all personally selected, who deliver on our behalf for clients, thus enabling the company to take on larger customer requests.

Bio / Background
Angela is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI), an Accredited Senior Coach by the International Association for Professional Coaching and Mentoring and an active member of Trainer Talk network. As a member of these prestigious industry organisations she adheres to the high professional standards required in the field of Training, Development and Coaching.
In addition to work with direct clients, Angela also works as an Associate Trainer for other training organisations such as CIPD, Keystone Development and Training, and KSLTraining, where she delivers on a wide variety of leadership, management and HR Qualification programmes.
In her spare time Angela is a fan of Formula 1 racing, fast military jets and Airshows, and ‘treads the boards’ in a local Amateur Dramatics.
